Moving on...

Well things are moving on and soon we will be moving IN! Gosh a whole TOWN to build... quite daunting but fun. I'm going to take it one home at a time (a bit like giving up booze or something .... one day at a time) sorry don't mean to be derogatory to the recovering alcoholics out there but you get what I'm saying.

I thought it might be fun to make a list (subject to change) of what I'm planning to build....
Hospital with waiting room, doctors office, ICU, operating theatre, children's ward, maternity unit and cafe.
School with nursery, lower school, upper school, canteen and playground.
Supermarket with car park
Hotel with reception and restaurant plus four suites including bathrooms.
Shopping Mall with cinema, cafe, jewellers, cosmetics, toy store, boutique, lingerie store, menswear and accessory store.
Nightclub
Boutique
Beach
Park
Airport including terminal
Ski resort
Then onto the homes
Six houses.... one 5 bedroom, four 4 bedroom and a 3 bedroom
Eighteen yes, EIGHTEEN apartments I think they will be one beds but not sure yet?

This will equate to...... 46 bedrooms, 28 bathrooms, 24 kitchens, 24 lounges, 20ish dining rooms, 5 gardens, a study and a garden room!

I will also have five 2 foot by 2 foot spaces for temporary displays and two 4 foot long shelves (not sure of the width yet)

Been reading all the home mags to look for ideas and I brought a great book today Jonathan Adler (pink Barbie sofa's) on Happy Chic Accessorizing. I've only flicked through it but have already got some ideas!

So today you don't get any new pictures... just LISTS! LOL

More pictures coming very soon.... like tomorrow!

  1. Holy cow, that's a lot of rooms! I just can't even imagine having that much space just for your dolls and props and goodies! I think I would be living out there, lol!

  2. It's going to be fun. If you are too much of a perfectionist it will take a while...
