Number One The Priors... Part Three
Final part of Number One The Priors, then we will be going on to make and decorate ....
For the spare bedroom I painted two pink Barbie bedside cabinets white (not finished yet as I need to paint the knobs and roses). For the light I used a draw knob
The headboard is a table mat
This light is a Christmas ornament and I threaded a piece of cord through the hook made a hole in the ceiling and tied it off, holding it in place with tape.
Vase a junk shop find with a bunch of glitter flowers
The bed base is a cut up FR doll box.
The wall between these rooms needs some urgent attention but for now a screw holds the wall in place.
The children's bedroom. I found these cots on eBay a couple of years ago but I don't think you can get them now? Amber 'Bashette' http://bashetteironworks.com/index.html made the bedding but at the moment I can't find Dawn's bedding (far right)??? I found the painted cupboard on eBay. The round mat is a place mat.
The wallpaper is actually gift wrapping paper. As it's a lot thinner than wallpaper you need to be careful about what you use to stick it to the board I used a spray adhesive.
.................................................................................................................................................................
In the attic the nanny's room.
Blue door in the background is a Sindy door
I made the re-ment unit a little taller with a piece of 10mm form board at the base and added a shelf along the top.
The sink still needs another coat of spray paint. Spraying is easy so long as you can do it outside or in a well ventilated room.
Again the walls are miss shapen from not being fixed in place when made. The wall tiles are sticky tiles for vamping up your kitchen or bathroom.
The last room in Neal and Sarah's home (1 The Priors) is the nursery.
A bit of a junk room still but I love my night garden wallpaper.

Next week I'm going to show you how to make a simple room box.... then we will look at different ways to decorate your room.

Things are coming along very very nicely! Can't wait to see the story taking place in those rooms. I am excited about the airport too.
