The Building of... THE PRIORS ... a doll room

Are cars Diorama items? Well in my book they are! Last week I received my new KEN Mini by Mattel and thought I would compare it to the Sindy (Hasbro) Mini  Not sure what the fit would be like for the older Ken's but it's a little 'comfy' for two!  The Ken car is smaller than Sindy's... no surprise there!  Ken Car  Sindy Car As you can see Sindy's car has a lot more detail and is MUCH heavier. It has a roof and the boot (trunk) opens BUT I still like the Ken car too!

Went to a train fair with my dad the other day and I just HAD to get these! LOL New sectional arrived, I have about six of these and when I get around to it I'll paint them different colours!    I brought this set at the train fair too  I got an e.mail from ELF the other day (remember I told you about their wonderful 1/6 scale kitchen's... still not put that together yet) Anyway when I was at the Doll House Fair last month I had remarked on the wonderful prams and strollers... Soooooo These were £45 each plus shipping. I'm not sure if they will have them on the web site all the time? But, you can order them! LINK TO ELF They have a range of colours too! Oh, and they can make high chairs and playpens.

I have the reception area laid out although still more work to be done No, it's not going to be psychedelic the furniture is just for placement  The sofa's might be staying but covered?  Along the back wall will be a lift (elevator)  The dining room seats 16 and serves Asian Cuisine  The maid is listening to the days instrutions And next door.....  JoElle will be opening a hair salon  No dryers or products...no flooring or wall décor  But hay! They have a lovely floral display! Not long now though and they will be ready to open? If only the dang workers did not want time off for Christmas... AND NOW NEW YEAR!!!! *sigh* LINK to my Life BLOG
